From a sharp stone to artificial intelligence. ๐ชจโก๏ธ๐ค
Some of the oldest stone tools ever found come from East Africa, made more than 3 million years ago. Our story as tool-makers started right here on this continent. ๐
Look at the journey:
๐ชจ Stone tools: we learned to cut, hunt and build
๐ฅ Fire: we cooked, stayed warm and gathered together
๐พ Farming: we settled, and villages and cities grew
โ๏ธ Iron: stronger tools, better farms. Africans were smelting iron thousands of years ago
โ๏ธ Writing: knowledge could outlive the person who had it
๐ Printing: books reached ordinary people
๐ญ Industry: machines multiplied human strength
๐ก Electricity: work no longer stopped at sunset
๐ป Computers and the internet: information at our fingertips
๐ค AI: tools that help us think, write and decide
Every revolution did the same thing: it gave people a new tool, and the people who learned it first moved ahead.
The stone in our ancestors' hands and the AI on our phones are the same idea: a tool that makes human beings more capable.
Our ancestors didn't fear the stone. They learned to use it. Let's do the same with AI. ๐
