The job advert says:
"Software Developer wanted."
The real job:
💻 Developer
🎨 Designer
📞 Customer care
🚗 Sales on Monday
🔧 IT support when the router dies
📸 Photographer for our social media
☕ Sometimes the one who buys tea
The interview:
Me: "Where do you see yourself in 5 years?"
Them: "Where do YOU see the company in 5 months?" 👀
Fair question. 😅
And the salary talk:
Big companies offer money, medical cover and a nice office.
Startups offer... "a great learning opportunity" and "you'll grow with us". 😂
But honestly, here's the real deal:
At a startup, you don't just do a job. You build something from zero. You learn in one year what some people learn in five. You see your work used by real people the next day.
The best startup hires aren't the ones with the most certificates. They're the ones who say "I don't know how, but I'll figure it out." 💪
