Dear graduate: the job is not the finish line. 🎓👇
📌 THE PRESSURE
At graduation everyone asks: "Where are you working?" So we rush. Any job. Any salary.
📌 THE RELIEF
The job comes. Family is proud. The first salary feels like freedom.
📌 THE ROUTINE
Wake up at 5am. Traffic. Office. Traffic. Home. Repeat. For years.
📌 THE MISSING SPACE
In Uganda, few workplaces give room to experiment. Your ideas wait for "later".
📌 THE TRAP
The salary ends before the month does. You run faster just to stay in the same place. That is the rat race. 🐀
📌 THE REAL COST
The ideas you never tried. The skills you never built. The problems that stayed unsolved.
📌 THE WAY OUT
Take the job if you need it. But:
✅ Protect two hours a day
✅ Learn one skill at a time
✅ Build something small on the side
✅ Find people who build
Your degree is a tool, not a cage. 🔑
